Next Meeting

The Livestock Judging and Horse Judging projects are being held together. Tuesday, November 11, we held our 3rd meeting at 6:30 at the County Extension office. The focus of this meeting was on Livestock and we watched a video on breeding stock in cattle, swine and sheep. We reviewed the key qualities that you look for in these animals.

If you are interested in the Livestock Judging project it is not too late to get involved. Please contact Mike or Nikki Penn at 903-393-1680 and we would be happy to fill you in on what we have covered thus far. We will also furnish you with the materials for either or both of the Livestock Judging and Horse Judging projects.

Our next meeting will be Tuesday, December 2, at the County Extension office at 6:30. Our main focus for that meeting will be to go over more of the Horse Judging items. However, we do try and incorporate both projects to help you learn the difference and similarities of both Horse Judging and Livestock Judging.

As a reminder, the Footbridge general meeting will be next Thursday, November 20 at 6:30 at the County office.
